Spartan.
He was orphaned at a young age and he joined the UNSC Spartan-III project in 2537. He was seven at the time. He was 22 by 2552 and served alongside NOBLE Team until their eventual collapse. He gained a hatred for the UNSC and ONI along with several other Spartans. They left after the war and developed a planetary government of their own. They found a planet they named Sierra, in memory of the tag that was usually given to Spartans, and the government became known as the United Spartan Confederation (USC). DARK served as the first president until his impeachment due to a disease. He served in the military as a general when the third president, Ronald-777, appointed him as the leader of the Sierran forces. When DARK was 42 by 2572, a war ensued between the USC ans UNSC because ONI began small raids funded by the UNSC to regain their Spartans and armor. The Sierrans didn't like that. DARK passed away by the age of 82 in 2612 of old age and his disease. He had a "son" named Andy Crews, who was a clone of DARK and someone DARK viewed as a son (story for another time).
That sounds like a very lovely/interesting history.
